BLB: As a junior associate, I didn`t feel like I could be particularly creative in my work. Being a junior partner at Biglaw does a lot of what you`re told (beyond and beyond, of course) and colors in the lines. I had to be creative, and I always considered myself a «funny» person. It was a good way to do it. I don`t know if I have the ability to be a storyteller like a stand-up comedian, but I`m certainly situationally funny, and memes were the perfect way to do that. I tried longer formats and comedy on my blog. Whether people like it or not, I don`t know, but I really like the process. And off I went.
